...said the joker to the thief. That's usually the first question we get asked by perfectly good strangers. What's a number you'd be impressed with? Also, is that the only barometer of success? If you asked me how business is going, I would tell you about who we are, what we do and where we want to go. Eventually I would divulge that sales are slow, and hard, and unpredictable. But I'd also slip in that we're really proud of what we've accomplished over the last 5 years.
Sales numbers are fun, but it's a component of business. Again, pop-commerce might say otherwise but when you know what you stand for, sales are a bi-product of hard work, dedication and the right amount of stubbornness to keep pushing forward.
So, how are sales?
At Old Son's Distillery we're striving for good, sustainable business and we believe Canadian Whisky in Ontario has the potential to be so much more than it is right now. We're excited for you try our first release, Stiff Upper Lip. We're just getting started and we're real jazzed about what's coming next. We've come a long way from the basement to store shelves. And yes, we are also on sale at the LCBO. We have not sold them all...yet.
